Create A New Identity Guidelines for a Record Label of My Choice
Assignment Brief.


"An existing record label of your choice wishes to create a new identity to increase its visual impact and suitability to its target audience.  You have been tasked with the conceptualisation, direction and production of this identity.  The brand you develop will need to be suitable to be employed across a range of traditional and digital media.  Your work should be based upon evidenced research into successful record label branding and contain a robust justification of why your approach will be effective for the client." 

"Your work should also reflect the particular ethos of the client and be in keeping with the style of music and expectations of audiences for the label's releases.  You will present your research findings and design response in the form of an identity guidelines document."  

"You must choose an existing record label for the purposes of this task and explain why the new identity is suited to your particular client."
